About Agnes
Agnes Andersen
Agnes Andersen was born in Vienna and grew up in a large family. The diversity led to an inner urge to understand each other’s view of life. Her father managed the finance department of an international company and wrote novels. For many years, Agnes was able to observe how he managed the accounting department and how he was able to put his stories into a novel.
While Agnes found walls full of numbers and walls full of words in her father’s world, her mother taught her freedom on the back of a horse. The language between animal and human. Without words and with all her heart.
Then there were four siblings. The two older siblings awakened an irrepressible curiosity in her. She learned a lot about herself from the two younger ones. But even more from her sons!
Agnes Andersen has been self-employed in Austria and in England since 2015. Her projects in management consulting for finance and accounting revolve around software selection, optimization, standardization and digitization of processes.
In writing hours, her guests learn the steps that lead to a good text, an exciting story and an entire book. The focus is on optimizing processes in both accounting and writing, with the aim to achieve the desired goal.
In the thinking lessons, thinking models and life models are discussed.
Manage your accounting, write your story and think philosophically.
Accounting - Writing - Thinking
Agnes Andersen supports projects on the topics of accounting, writing and thinking.

The colourful spectrum of industries ranges from tobacconists and tailors to advertising agencies, ticket shops, concert organisers, orchestras, musicians and artists, educational institutions, kindergartens, publishing houses, restaurants and hotels.
In addition, IT companies, construction companies, architects, politicians, plumbers, property managers, financial advisors, insurance agents, investment companies, property managers, and various other services and wholesalers
Agnes is familiar with every size of company. From sole proprietorships and associations to limited liability companies and group balance sheets.
Her career in accounting began in payroll accounting and continued in bookkeeping, cost accounting, accounting and consolidation. Agnes has also worked at BMD Business Software.
Her core area ranges from the operational processing of agendas to the selection of suitable accounting software. Followed by data transfers from external systems, implementations, set-ups and training. Agnes also creates customised user manuals for the company’s employees.
Agnes Andersen also offers advice on planning, conceptualising and writing good texts, stories and entire books. Her passion for writing, ignited by reading and the subsequent urge to recognise and understand.
Agnes is currently enrolled in the postgraduate Philosophical Practice programme at the University of Vienna. Thinking is what moves her life, inspiring philosophical dialogue and questions about the good life, justice, morality and beauty.
Accounting
The A and A of accounting optimises accounting processes.
Accounting projects revolve around software selection as well as the optimisation, standardisation and digitalisation of processes.
In the age of digitalisation and automation, the technology should work for us, not the other way around. The right results for the right decisions in the company. Up-to-date, correct and ready to hand.
Writing
The A and A of writing tells your stories.
In the writing lessons, you will learn the steps that lead to a good text, an exciting story and an entire book.
Focus on a significant change in your life and write a story and perhaps even a whole book.
Thinking
The A and A of thinking moves your life.
In the thinking lessons, I discuss and move through models of thinking and models of life. This is also based on insights from the history of philosophy, literature and current discourse.
Through my philosophy studies, I have realised how much structured and holistic thinking sharpens the focus on the essentials. In writing and in accounting, and above all in life

I would like to emphasize how important and valuable your commitment was for us. Your wide-ranging expertise not only got us through a ‘dry spell’ with self-confident certainty, your commitment was enriching for us in many ways!
I would like to thank you very much for this, for your humor and, last but not least, for your ‘outside the box’ perspective, which is not only expressed in your artistic work.

In our store, we still use a very old software for order processing with very limited functions.
For almost 2 years I have been looking for suitable software, which was not so easy, because on the one hand there are many things, but on the other hand it was difficult to find out what really fits for our small company.
That’s how I came to Mrs. Agnes Andersen via recommendation
Due to her deep experience in the field of accounting, gained over many years, she has also dealt intensively with software solutions for SMEs and was able to suggest suitable solutions to me very quickly.
Sie hat mich weiterhin bei der Definition der Anforderungen unterstützt, sowie bei der Einholung von She continued to assist me in defining the requirements, as well as in obtaining suitable offers, analyzing the offers and making decisions.
I will definitely include Ms Andersen in the implementation phase and phase II, which will then deal specifically with accounting processes.

Every beginning is difficult – including starting work with employees in an unsalaried association. So many voices, so many opinions and too little knowledge.
Agnes Andersen gave us great support! Careful, calm and always available for us – thank you for that!

Fixed costs versus variable costs:
Through flexibility at a reasonable price, Ms. Agnes Andersen enables us to outsource in the accounting area as well: an area one does not usually associate with variable costs.
The possibility of offsetting the hours actually worked is particularly important in start-ups, because it can de facto adapt proportional aliquots to business developments.
In addition, in Ms. Agnes Andersen we have a very competent contact person who is always available to help and advise us not only in the area of accounting, but also in controlling and tax matters.
