Philosophy for companies

Recognition

‘That has always been the case. It won’t change. I’m absolutely convinced of that!’ You can hear this and similar things in meetings.

How are the employees of this company doing? And the company itself? What is good leadership? How can meetings be organised more successfully?

It is not the things themselves that worry people, but their ideas about things. (Epictetus). People suffer because they see things the way they see them.

Thinking and acting from a philosophical stance means being open. To step back again and again and be amazed. And to no longer be absolutely convinced. And to doubt what has always been the case and will never change!

We critically question the past and this opens up new perspectives and paths.

How could I lead myself in order to lead others well? What significance and meaning does the work have for me? How does trust develop in our team? Can I really motivate employees?

Although there will be no definitive, universally valid answers, philosophy is on its way. It offers you the space to discuss your questions. It is the conversation, the dialogue. And this dialogue can start with yourself: Through the morning resolution and the evening examination.

Finally, I would like to quote Nietzsche One person is looking for an obstetrician for his thoughts, the other for someone he can help: This is how a good conversation comes about. (Beyond Good and Evil, 1886. Fourth main play)
